Technology centres
Ceit is a non-profit technology centre, established in 1982 on the initiative of the University of Navarra. Its main activity centres on the development of industrial research projects in close collaboration with companies’ R&D departments.
Through its expertise in digitalisation, automation, artificial intelligence and mobile, collaborative and industrial robotics technologies, Ceit contributes to process optimisation and quality assurance in production.
In the field of physical AI, it develops efficient models based on machine learning for the control of robots and exoskeletons, as well as 2D and 3D computer vision techniques based on deep learning. It also integrates these technologies into industrial applications with the aim of improving the reliability, safety and spatial awareness of robotic systems.
Among its developments is a physical AI platform designed for intelligent robotic manipulation, intended for the automated assembly and disassembly of industrial components in unstructured environments, with applications in fields such as recycling and remanufacturing.
