IBV

The Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) is a technological center managed through an agreement between the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) that combines biomechanics, ergonomics, and emotional engineering to study the behavior of the human body and its relationship with products, environments, and services. Its main mission is to improve people's health, well-being, and quality of life while simultaneously boosting the competitiveness of the business sector through the transfer of scientific knowledge and applied innovation in industries such as automotive, healthcare, sports, and occupational risk prevention.
