Kistler develops dynamic measurement technologies, sensor solutions, and monitoring systems for applications including research, development, production, and quality assurance. In the field of humanoid robotics, its solutions can be used at different stages of the product lifecycle, from development and validation to manufacturing and quality control.
For research and development, Kistler provides solutions for measuring force, torque, acceleration, pressure, and motion. These technologies can be used for the characterization and validation of actuators, joints, grippers, end-effectors, and locomotion systems, supporting the analysis and improvement of aspects such as robot control, balance, dexterity, and energy efficiency.
For testing and validation, Kistler’s measurement systems can be used to analyse dynamic behaviour, impact forces, vibration, and interaction forces between the robot and its environment. The resulting data can support the assessment of safety, robustness, and compliance with functional and regulatory requirements.
In production environments, Kistler provides process monitoring systems designed for inline quality control.
